Flowers are simple, elegant, pure white with striking yellow stamens, flowers up to 8 cm in diameter. The plants feature highly decorative, finely cut foliage and grow to a height of approximately 50 cm. The autumn coloration of the plants is magnificent - the leaves are golden-yellow to orange, and the stems are a vibrant red. Native to the Himalayas, this peony grows in bushes on dry or rocky slopes. Plant in a sheltered, semi-shaded spot with neutral to calcareous soil.
